The VolSU delegation has set off for the International Festival of Youth 2026

From September 11 to 17, the International Festival of Youth will be held in Ekaterinburg. 27 representatives of Volgograd State University have set off to the IFY as participants and volunteers.

In total, 10,000 citizens of the Russian Federation and foreign states will take part in the festival.

Volgograd State University students will find themselves at the center of an international event, meet young people from 191 countries, visit the exhibition program, the food & drink market, open sessions, and special festival activities.

The VolSU volunteer team is actually already in Ekaterinburg: they are helping to organize the largest youth event of this year. While the participants are preparing for the event, the volunteers have already gotten to know each other, delved into the processes, and communicated with colleagues from other regions. The total volunteer team of two thousand people will distribute areas of work: some will meet guests at the airport, some will check tickets, shoot content, or take care of the delegations.

VolSU is a center for recruiting and training the festival’s volunteer team. Experts from the VolSU “Proryv” Volunteer Center worked with volunteers from three regions: Volgograd and Astrakhan Regions, as well as the Republic of Kalmykia.

The IFY is a platform where thousands of young leaders from all over the world will meet to find like-minded people and growth points for their projects, exchange ideas and share experience, as well as launch a wave of real change. The festival is organized by the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs, the Government of the Sverdlovsk Region, and the “Directorate of the World Youth Festival” Autonomous Non-Profit Organization.
