Jordanian students learned more about Russian traditions
Center for Public Diplomacy of VolSU held another meeting with the students of University of Jordan in the framework of “Volgograd Study Weeks” program with the assistance of the Russkiy Mir Foundation in Amman.
Dr. Elena Parubochaya, Director of the Center for Public Diplomacy, and Dr. Ekaterina Arkhipova, Head of the History and International Relations Department, opened the event. Tatiana Glushchenko, Head of the Russkiy Mir Foundation in Amman, greeted the participants of the roundtable from the Jordanian part.
Students of Volgograd State University spoke about traditions of celebrating New Year and Christmas, as well as showed a video prepared specially for the meeting with the Jordanian students.
Students of University of Jordan spoke about holidays in their country. The meeting was held in a warm friendly atmosphere in three languages: Russian, English and Arabic.
