The ranking assesses the quality of education at Russian universities that offer AI specialist training.
The Alliance for Artificial Intelligence presented the first edition of such ranking in November 2023. At that time, Volgograd State University was included in Group D.
According to the 2024 results, VolSU moved up to the D++ index among the best Southern Federal District universities for training AI specialists. In this group, VolSU neighbors with Don State Technical University, Rostov State University of Economics, Platov South Russian State Polytechnic University, and Volgograd State Technical University.
